I had a mixed experience at Hotel El Cayito Beach Resort. The beach was pretty narrow and the water was muddy, but the pool was a nice spot to relax. My room, however, was smaller than expected and lacked basic amenities like proper hot water. Overall, there were some nice moments, but several issues made my stay less enjoyable.

The Superior Suite was not what I expected. It was quite small and lacked bedside lamps, making it hard to get comfortable. The shower was broken, too, which was a letdown.
Service
5.5
The cleaning lady was super kind, but other than that, there seemed to be a lack of support during my stay. No one was around to help when I had issues with my room.

The resort is right in front of the beach, which is a plus, but the beach itself needed some TLC. It was rocky and muddy, so I ended up visiting nearby spots instead.

Food options were adequate but frankly kind of boring. Prices were fair, but I was surprised by the extra charges, especially for takeout.
Facilities

The public areas were comfortable and had a nice vibe. The pool area could use some cleaning and upkeep, as the paint was chipping off, which detracted from the overall resort feel.

My stay at Hotel El Cayito Beach Resort Montecristi was quite disappointing. While the location was peaceful and right in front of the beach, the facilities and service fell short of expectations. The room was cramped and uncomfortable, lacking basic amenities like hot water, while the dining options were limited. Overall, I can't say I had a great experience here.
Rooms

My room was extremely small, resembling a trailer rather than a hotel room. It lacked hot water, shampoo, and even a full roll of toilet paper. I found the bed hard and uncomfortable, with air conditioning that I couldn't regulate, making it too cold at night.
Service
5.0
I was let down by the service, notably during breakfast. The restaurant was supposedly included but was closed when I checked in at 9 AM, so I had to seek breakfast elsewhere. Communication about what's included in my stay was unclear, which added to my frustration.

The hotel's location right in front of the beach was one of the few highlights. The area was peaceful and beautiful, making it a nice spot to relax, though the beach itself is a bit rocky and not ideal for swimming.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were quite limited, with prices at the hotel restaurant being higher than other places nearby. I ended up visiting a supermarket for better food choices, which wasn't what I had anticipated.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were not well maintained; the swimming pool showed signs of wear and cleaning issues. The area around the pool was also quite loud due to outside visitors, making it hard to enjoy a relaxing time.

I had a bit of a mixed experience at Hotel El Cayito Beach Resort. The location right in front of the beach was beautiful and peaceful, but I found the family room to be quite small and basic. The service was helpful, but there were issues with some amenities like the pool needing maintenance.

The family room was really small with just two double beds and a tiny table. While it has good air conditioning, it felt cramped for my family.

The receptionist was wonderful and spoke decent English. She helped us order food when the hotel menu didn't have what we wanted.

The pool had issues, with the water appearing green, and the surrounding area needed more care. The beach could also use some TLC.

I had a mixed experience at El Cayito Beach Resort. The location was perfect for relaxation, with stunning views of El Morro, but there were some drawbacks, like thin walls and ongoing loud music. The restaurant offered decent meals, though I found the limited food and drink options a bit disappointing.
Rooms

The room was clean with effective air conditioning, but very small, offering just enough space for two double beds and a tiny table. Also, I could hear my neighbor snoring due to the thin walls (which was quite funny, actually!).
Service

The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially the cleaning lady and the cook. They did a great job keeping everything tidy and even provided mosquito spray.

The resort's location is fantastic, right in front of the beautiful and peaceful beach, making it a great spot for unwinding away from the city's noise.

Breakfast had its highlights, but I felt the restaurant's selection was quite limited. I had to make a trip to the supermarket for my favorite orange juice since it wasn't available there.

The pool was nice but needed some care, as the paint was chipping off. I also noticed that the beach right in front could use some TLC, as it was a bit rocky for swimming.

My stay at Hotel El Cayito Beach Resort was a mixed bag. The location was beautiful and peaceful, right in front of the beach, which I loved. However, the family room was quite cramped, and the swimming pool could use a little TLC. Overall, it was decent but had some room for improvement.
